CASA Student Success Center Mission

The CASA Student Success Center is a space where cultura is celebrated, comunidad is built, and students are empowered to reach their educational, career, and personal goals.

The center serves as a space of resources, programs, and support that fosters student transition, persistence, completion, and transfer. Grounded in Butte College’s commitment to being a student-ready, Hispanic-Serving Institution, CASA advances outcomes for Latino/a/x students and all students by cultivating a sense of belonging, cultural affirmation, and academic excellence.

Meet Tiffany, a civil engineering major from Yuba City, CA, whose passion for building and design was sparked by her father’s background in construction. Drawn to the college’s supportive environment and diverse services, she found her academic path both fascinating, dynamic and ever evolving. Beyond academics, she enjoys a balanced life, including work, quality time with her brothers, cross-stitching, traveling, and enjoying bailes. Tiffany valued CASA's supportive atmosphere, praising the helpful staff that kept her focused on her goals during her time at Butte College. She encourages fellow students to prioritize consistency and proactive questioning. Tiffany is now at San Jose State.
