You can easily renew books online, by telephone, or in person.
Reserve items may not be renewed. Please do not return reserve materials to any outside book drop. All reserve materials must be returned to the location where they were checked out - Main Campus Library Reserve Desk (LB 2nd floor) or Chico Center Library (CHC 219).
Renew your books using "My Library Account"
Using the "My Library Account" feature not only lets you renew your books, it will also show fines and fees, due dates, holds available and other information!
From the online catalog → Sign-in from the upper right hand corner next to "My Library Account." (Not the "Worldcat" sign-in)
Type in your Butte College email address and Butte password.
Click on the "Renew" button for the item(s) you want to renew. The new due date will then appear next to the item.
Renew your books in-person
You can also stop by the Main Campus or Chico Center Library Circulation Desk during our open hours to renew your books.
Renew your books by phone
During our open hours, call the Main Campus Library Circulation Desk at 530-879-4017 or the Chico Center Library at 530-879-4366 to renew by telephone. Do not just leave a phone message asking to renew; you will need to speak directly to a staff member.
