1. Farmers Market

At the weekly Farmers Market students browse vendors, enjoy entertainment and purchase locally grown and organic produce.

2. Lower Bidwell Park

Bidwell Park is one of the U.S.A's largest city parks at over 3,600 acres. Students enjoy many activities withing the park including hiking, biking, swimming and picnicking.

3. Hiking Upper Bidwell Park

There are over 35 miles of hiking trails surrounded by Big Chico Creek Canyon.

4. CSU, Chico Public Events

Chico State is host to many events, speakers and performances throughout the year. Recent events include Peking Acrobats and Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano.

5. Sierra Nevada Brewery

Sierra Nevada Brewery produces award-winning beer and is open daily for tastings, tours and dinner/lunch.

6. Tubing

Soak up some sun, join fellow students and float down the Sacramento River or Butte Creek.

8. Downtown Chico

Downtown Chico is a fun place to shop, catch a show and eat. Many events occur throughout the year including Taste of Chico and Concerts in the Park.

9. Senator Theater

The Chico Senator Theater is one of Chico's many music venues. Located downtown, the theater books an eclectic mix of musicians, both local and national, and ranging from pop to metal!

10. Lake Oroville

Camping, boating, fishing, swimming and kayaking are some of the fun activities students enjoy doing at Lake Oroville.
