Students in the 2+2/2+2+2 Articulation Program are enrolled in selected courses regularly offered at their high school. These courses are articulated with Butte College courses, and students who meet the performance criteria contained within the articulation agreement receive credit for the course at Butte College.
The articulation process between high school and college faculty is facilitated by the CTE Transitions Office. To date, more than 150 courses have been articulated. Each year, more than 5000 units of college credit are awarded to students who successfully complete 2+2/2+2+2 coursework. Approximately 3,000 students are eligible to earn Butte College credit, with about 2000 students successfully earning a grade of an A or B. There are no fees associated with this program, and enrollment and crediting are carried out through the cooperative efforts of high school faculty and the CTE Transitions Program at Butte College.
