Butte College has announced its upcoming graduation ceremonies taking place in December.
Butte College’s 130th Law Enforcement Academy graduation will take place Thursday, December 6 at 4 p.m. at the Paradise Alliance Church, 6491 Clark Road.
There will be a registered nurse (RN) pinning ceremony on Thursday, December 13 at 5 p.m. in the Campus Center at the Butte College main campus, 3536 Butte Campus Drive in Oroville.
A total of 52 RN students will graduate and awards will be presented for Nursing Excellence, Clinical Excellence, Academic Excellence and the NSNA leadership award. Student speaker will be Bill Strachan.
A licensed vocational nurse (LVN) pinning will take place Friday, December 14 at 1pm in the Arts Theatre at the main campus, 3536 Butte Campus Drive. Twenty two graduates will be in attendance and awards for Nursing Excellence, Clinical Excellence and Academic Excellence will be presented. Student speaker will be Vanessa Molina.
A certified nursing assistant (CNA) graduation will take place on Wednesday, December 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the Allied Health Public Safety Center Building, Room 209. Thirteen 13 CNA’s will be pinned and receive certificates.
