Butte College is hosting an Earth Day Festival with activities scheduled on both the main campus and at the Chico Center April 21 and 22. Celebrating the planet that sustains us, the Earth Day Festival will include information booths, demonstrations, hands-on activities, art, food and live music.
A special Sustainability Forum will be held in the Arts Theater from 10 a.m. to noon on April 21. Guest representatives from many of the college’s departments including dining services, technology, student activities, agriculture, career and technical education, facilities, instruction and Associated Students will be on hand to share the projects they are working on along with audience thoughts and ideas.
All activities will take place on the main campus lawn from 9 a.m. to noon both days and in the lobby and select classrooms at the Chico Center from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on April 21.
