Six Butte College Baseball Players Successfully Transfer to Universities

Six Butte College baseball players will be transferring to four year universities for the Fall semester: 

Dustin Fulks, of Red Bluff, has signed with Division II Western Oregon University;

Mike Gleason, of Willows, has signed with CSU, Chico;

Roy Garcia, Corning, signed with the University of the Cumberlands, Kentucky;

Patrick Ross signed with Brescia University;

Steven Leeper has signed with CSU, Chico; and

Spencer Tate was recruited to CSU, San Bernardino.

"We are very proud of our student athletes who work hard during the season both on and off the field," said Craig Rigsbee, Butte College Athletics Director. "They work hard not only with their team, but also academically to keep and maintain their grade point averages."

Anthony Ferro, Butte College's head baseball coach complimented the baseball players and encouraged them to complete their career goals.

"During the last five years at Butte College, we've seen over 40 players successfully transfer to universities after playing for us to further their baseball and academic careers," said Anthony Ferro, Butte College head baseball coach.
