The BCIS department offers two levels of certificates for each of its four programs: certificate and a certificate of achievement.
Additionally, you can earn a certificate in Account Clerk from either the Business Education Department or the BCIS Department.
BCIS Certificates: BCIS Certificates are awarded by the BCIS Department once students have successfully completed the 12-16 required units depending on the BCIS program selected.

BCIS Certificates of Achievement: BCIS Certificates of Achievement are awarded by Butte College once students have successfully completed the 24-32 units required depending on the BCIS program selected.
Students applying for a BCIS Certificate of Achievement should complete an application online at Certificates of Achievement.
