Welcome to the Butte College Automotive Program! I have worked many years in the automotive industry starting at cleaning the floors and toilets to running a team of seven journeymen technicians. My goal here at Butte College is to help you develop the skills needed to start a career in the automotive industry. I stress the importance of a strong work ethic, education above just automotive related classes and enjoying what you do. I strive to not only teach the basics, but share the "tricks of the trade" that have helped me throughout my career as a technician.

Technology is constantly changing in this industry and keeping up on it is crucial. Myself and all the instructors here at Butte College Automotive spend two or more weeks over the summer at various manufacturer programs to insure we deliver to you the latest in technology. Along with keeping up on industry innovations, the automotive staff is constantly exploring new ways to give you the tools you need to succeed.
