What is Our Purpose?
To educate Butte College students as well as the community of the opportunities in the field of Agriculture and Environmental Science through services and special projects.
What are Our Goals?
Our goals are community outreach service projects, raise funds to support leadership development and activities, and recruitment for Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Welding, and Butte College in general.
What do you get out of attending a club meeting?
Our meetings focus on leadership development and community service activity planning. Our members also develop speaking skills and utilize Parliamentary Procedure to conduct meetings.
When do we meet?
We meet the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm. The meeting place will be announced.
What activities are there to get involved with?
Can you get credit for being involved with Ag Ambassadors?
Yes, if you want to become a member of the Butte College Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Ambassadors, you need to register in AGR 110/111 - Agricultural Leadership. This is a credit/no credit course you can units from .5 units to 1 unit.
What are the course expectations?
To receive 1 unit you must have a minimum of 45 hours participation. To receive .5 unit you must have a minimum of 20 hours participation. A roll sheet will be signed at each meeting and activity that you attend. A log of attendance will be kept by the Activities Director and Advisor.
Membership Availability
Membership is open to all students currently enrolled at Butte College no matter how many units are being carried.
