Our career services include (but are not limited to): individual career counseling (on the main campus and at the Chico Center), career planning workshops, Eureka training workshops, Career Life Planning courses, computer lab for career and occupational research, and a career library. Our One-Stop Career Center also houses such exciting programs as the Job Placement & Cooperative Education Office to assist in your employment needs and the Office of Service Learning & Volunteerism to gain experience while earning college credit and making a difference in our communities. We also house CalWORKs, Tourism & Travel, and the New Horizons/Re-Entry Program. Located inside the Campus Center Building at 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Oroville, CA 95965. For the majority of people, work will be a primary life activity. In educational institutions career planning prepares people for work by helping individuals connect their academic preparation to the work world. The goal of career planning instruction is to increase career planning knowledge and achieve career planning skill competence. The goal of career resource management is to insure the available career materials and resources are accurate and current. Career planning helps people move from school to work, work to work, and work to school.
